Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

My photo is not 3:1. What happens?
With 'Crop to fill' the edges are trimmed so the picture fills 1500×500; with 'Add bars' the whole picture is kept and the empty space is filled.
Can I resize many images to 1500×500 at once?
