Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

My photo is not 4:3. What happens?
With 'Crop to fill' the edges are trimmed so the picture fills 800×600; with 'Add bars' the whole picture is kept and the empty space is filled.
Can I resize many images to 800×600 at once?
