Pixfit

Compress an image to 150 KB

Every file comes out at 150 KB or smaller, at the best quality that fits.

Files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. 1Choose your photo or scan.
  2. 2The limit is already 150 KB. Change it if your form asks for something else.
  3. 3Download the file.

What 150 KB looks like

150 KB fits a clear 1200–1600 pixel photo at good quality, which looks sharp on screens and in email. Typical use: online forms, job portals and email attachments.

Questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Pixfit runs inside your browser tab. The images are read, changed and saved on your own device; nothing is sent to a server.

Will my photo look bad at 150 KB?

150 KB fits a clear 1200–1600 pixel photo at good quality, which looks sharp on screens and in email.

My form says 150 KB minimum, not maximum. What do I do?

Use the resize tool to make the picture larger in pixels, or raise the quality — larger dimensions produce a bigger file.

Can I compress several photos at once?

Yes. Drop them all in; each one is compressed to the same limit and you can download them together as a ZIP.
