Compress an image to 15 KB
Every file comes out at 15 KB or smaller, at the best quality that fits.
Files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
How it works
- 1Choose your photo or scan.
- 2The limit is already 15 KB. Change it if your form asks for something else.
- 3Download the file.
What 15 KB looks like
At 15 KB a phone photo has to shrink to roughly 300–500 pixels wide. That is fine for an ID photo or signature on a form, not for printing. Typical use: ID photos and signatures on government and exam application forms.

Questions
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Pixfit runs inside your browser tab. The images are read, changed and saved on your own device; nothing is sent to a server.
Will my photo look bad at 15 KB?
At 15 KB a phone photo has to shrink to roughly 300–500 pixels wide. That is fine for an ID photo or signature on a form, not for printing.
My form says 15 KB minimum, not maximum. What do I do?
Use the resize tool to make the picture larger in pixels, or raise the quality — larger dimensions produce a bigger file.
Can I compress several photos at once?
Yes. Drop them all in; each one is compressed to the same limit and you can download them together as a ZIP.
