Pixfit

Compress an image to 300 KB

Every file comes out at 300 KB or smaller, at the best quality that fits.

Files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. 1Choose your photo or scan.
  2. 2The limit is already 300 KB. Change it if your form asks for something else.
  3. 3Download the file.

What 300 KB looks like

300 KB is enough for a full-HD (1920 px) photo at high quality; most people cannot tell it from the original. Typical use: websites, marketplaces and messaging apps.

Questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Pixfit runs inside your browser tab. The images are read, changed and saved on your own device; nothing is sent to a server.

Will my photo look bad at 300 KB?

300 KB is enough for a full-HD (1920 px) photo at high quality; most people cannot tell it from the original.

My form says 300 KB minimum, not maximum. What do I do?

Use the resize tool to make the picture larger in pixels, or raise the quality — larger dimensions produce a bigger file.

Can I compress several photos at once?

Yes. Drop them all in; each one is compressed to the same limit and you can download them together as a ZIP.
